The Inman Aligner teeth straightening treatment uses nickel titanium springs to power two aligner bows that gently oppose each other to provide the pressure needed to realign the teeth. This gentle force is responsible for the fast effects of the treatment, with visible results in 6 to 16 weeks.
1. Your dentists will take an impression of your teeth, sending it off to a laboratory for your custom aligners to be made.
2. You’ll return to Kreate Dental to have your Inman aligners fitted. Back at home, you’ll need to wear them for at least 16 hours a day.
3. We recommend coming in for check-ups at regular intervals so your dentist can check on progress, until your treatment is complete.
Wearing the aligner may affect your speech slightly, for the first week or so while you are getting used to wearing it.
While you may experience some slight discomfort as the aligner gradually moves your front teeth into their new position, this should be treatable with over the counter painkillers. Most patients who have received the Inman Aligner at Kreate Dental report minimal discomfort if any.
As with most orthodontic treatment, once your Inman Aligner™ treatment is complete, we recommend wearing a retainer to prevent your teeth reverting back to their original position. We also advise regular dental check-ups and dental hygiene appointments with the friendly team here at Kreate Dental, to maintain your oral health and look after your new straight smile.
