Also known as cosmetic bonding or tooth bonding, this is a popular dental treatment, as it is minimally invasive and suitable for most patients who have good oral health. Ideal for correcting little imperfections like small chips, fractures and cracks, as well as the aesthetic appearance of discoloured, shortened or misshapen teeth, composite bonding works by adding to your existing teeth rather than removing any tooth tissue.

Fix chipped or broken teeth
Emma used composite bonding to fix my teenage daughters smile. She was absolutely amazing. She colour matched it absolutely perfectly, and during the whole process she constantly checked that my daughter wasn’t in any discomfort. She did have a peg shaped tooth and also a skinny tooth at the front. Now she has a perfect smile. Emma is so meticulous and thorough, I wholeheartedly recommend her.
The composite bonding treatment at Kreate Dental usually only takes one appointment, and you’ll be able to bite down as normal by the end of it, so you can get on with your day as normal.
We will use a composite resin to sculpt directly onto your tooth, which we’ll first match to the natural colour of your teeth. Your dentist will then carefully apply the composite resin to your teeth to reshape them, before it is hardened and polished to match the shine and texture of your surrounding teeth.
Composite bonding typically lasts for around three to five years. This treatment does require regular maintenance, with polishing during your routing dental check-up.
Composite bonding can be removed and replaced if necessary. However, removing the bonding material may require taking some of the natural tooth structure away too.
We recommend completing a course of teeth whitening with Kreate Dental before starting undergoing composite bonding treatment. This will enable your dentist to match the new whiter colour of your teeth with the composite material.
