Periodontics deals with the structures of the mouth that support and surround the teeth.
It is largely concerned with the health and hygiene of the gums and involves treating patients for gum disease and bleeding gums.
Periodontists are also trained to deal with inflammation, as well as with the treatment and implementation of dental implants. All periodontists have received further training in their field and perform treatments that can only be undertaken after extensive study.

Very thorough initial consultation with a good level of explaining the treatment protocols and clinical diagnoses. Good x-ray machine to hospital standard, which allowed for the dentist to show clearly the issues affecting the tooth concerned and immediate areas in the jawbone.
