Early detection of mouth cancer is of the utmost importance, which is why we provide mouth cancer screenings at Kreate Dental with every Dental Examination.
It’s a very simple assessment to help us detect any early signs of mouth cancer. If we find anything of concern, we will refer you to a specialist.
We will check your mouth for red and white patches and sores that might indicate the presence of cancer. We’ll also use gloved hands to check for any lumps or abnormalities.
In some cases, we might use a screening dye. In this case, you will rinse your mouth out with the dye and any abnormal cells will turn blue.
A screening light can also be used, under which healthy tissue comes up dark and abnormal tissue appears white.
Very thorough initial consultation with a good level of explaining the treatment protocols and clinical diagnoses. Good x-ray machine to hospital standard, which allowed for the dentist to show clearly the issues affecting the tooth concerned and immediate areas in the jawbone.
