Dental veneers are used to give you a bright, beautiful smile, replacing chipped, broken, misaligned, undersized or worn down teeth. Veneers are wafer thin custom-made pieces of porcelain, securely bonded to a single tooth or multiple teeth, giving a natural appearance with minimal tooth preparation.
At Kreate Dental, porcelain is our preferred material for veneers as it is strong and resistant to staining. It also reflects light, just like a natural tooth. You can choose to colour match to the shade of your remaining teeth, or go a shader whiter for a brighter looking smile.

Custom-made for you
I had a great experience at Kreate dental. They made me feel very welcome and the dentist I visited was very knowledgable and helpful. He answered all my questions and I felt very well looked after. Would definitely recommend to a friend !
Your dentist here will carry out a full examination of your teeth and establish if veneers are suitable for you.
If you and your dentist decide that veneers are right for you, your dentist will prepare your teeth ready for their placement. They will remove a small amount of enamel from the front surface of your teeth, so that all your teeth end up the same size and shape.
Once done, they will take accurate impressions of your teeth to ensure a perfect fit. While your veneers are being custom-made, your dentist will fit temporary ones, so that you can still smile confidently during the treatment process.
Once your new veneers are ready, you’ll return to our Rugby or Dartford practice for them to be set in place with a special dental adhesive. They’ll be adjusted for fit and colour to ensure they look just like your natural teeth and you’ll leave your appointment with a brand new smile.
With the right care and by maintaining good oral health, your dental veneers should last between 10 and 15 years.
It’s important to brush and floss your teeth regularly and to avoid biting into hard objects, such as ice or hard candy, which can chip or break the veneers.
The process for getting dental veneers typically involves some discomfort, but most patients do not experience significant pain. Your dentist may use a local anaesthetic while preparing your teeth for the veneers, to minimise any discomfort. Following the treatment, some patients report experiencing some mild sensitivity for a period of time, although this should settle down within a few days.
Alternative treatments to dental veneers include teeth whitening, composite bonding, and orthodontic treatments such as Invisalign.
